Here, you will find a letter written to my representative in support for the "SNAP Vitamin and Mineral Improvement Act of 2017." I believe that supplementation is a good option for those who have little access to food. This act would allow those who are eligible for nutrition assistance through SNAP to use their benefits for the purchase of multivitamins-minerals.

This is a group written grant proposal to help HIV+ pregnant women in San Juan, Puerto Rico deliver healthy babies. Our goal was to provide a program that would decrease the rate of low birth weight babies and increase the length of the gestational period by offering nutrition education, supplementation, and overall support to the mothers.
